All set for Mega Fete

ALL is set for the New Year’s Eve Mega Fete slated for Margolis Resort.

The potentially exciting show which is expected to attract hundreds to thousands of people kicks off at 3pm scheduled to end in the wee hours.

Headlining the show will be song bird Ammara Brown, also performing at the show will be Victor Kunonga, Pauline, Nutty O, GZE, Tamy, Djembe Monks and Farai Shelton.

Surprise acts from Nigeria, Zambia and Angola are also expected to perform at the show.

Deejays Scott, Ken and Danube will entertain patrons with live video mixing.

The event, which will go with a massive fireworks display, also includes performances from dance groups like HD Dance Crew, Mixxy Twerk Crew and Simba Arts whilst So Profound and Rebecca Muchenje will be emcees at the potentially exciting event.

The first 100 people to get to the venue will gain free entrance and a free braai pack.

Free Wi-Fi will be available for all those that would want to post on social media as well as chat with friends and relatives.

A state of the art stage, a VIP section and well attended bars will placed around the venue as well.

Transport to ferry people to and from the venue has been arranged and will be at strategic points in the central business district (CBD).

“Margolis is quite a distance for the ordinary person that would like to attend this event so we have arranged transport in strategic areas in the central business district that will ferry people to and from the venue.

“People are also not to worry about the rains as we are putting huge tents in place to make sure rain doesn’t disrupt the fun.

“We have also put safety measures in place to make sure in case of any dangers. There will be an ambulance on site as well an evacuation plan has been set.

“This the event that we are going to address the previous faults of the other shows we held,” said partnering director of the event Chido Mapungwana.

He added:

“For those that would want to stay at the venue we have limited accommodation and it will be wise to book on time.”
