Ammara drops album

AMMARA Brown’s camp is optimistic the diva’s album is a gem and it will be launched tomorrow at The Venue, Avondale.
They anticipate a huge turn-up considering the project has been named after them, Ammartians.
The album is titled Ammartia.
“Everything looks set now and I am ready to honour my fans with this creation which they have impatiently waited for.
“I hope they will enjoy the album as much as I enjoyed creating it, this is for every Ammartian.
“They have made me a part of the fabric of their lives and I just want to say that I’m eternally grateful,” said Ammara.
The Akiliz hit-maker believes she owes it to her fans despite being put to test.
“There were days when I had lost my fuel to keep going and then I’d open my emails or get on a stage to perform and my fans would each time remind me of where I should be.
“My dreams and goals are greater than me. It’s about the human connection, whether we dance together, cry together or grow together,” she said.
On the album, Ammara has worked with man of the moment DJ Tamuka on the song Akiliz, Oskid, Chiweddar, Take Fizzo, Jusa Damentor, Roki, Mr Kamera, Simba Moyo and Simba Tagz.
She has labelled them as Zimbabwe’s finest and explained why she roped them in.
“It wasn’t the easiest process as all nine producers added their own feel on the project, they all helped to grow the album.
“Their expertise helped my dream become a reality and I am grateful for their helping hand,” she said.
Tickets to the show are going for US$10 and are available at The Venue and Tech Tools Avondale.
Show starts at 8pm.
