Best yet to come: Murwira
15 December 2017
NGEZI Platinum star Godknows Murwira says the best is yet to come after receiving the Most Disciplined Player of the Year award at the club’s annual awards.
Murwira, who has been one of the key players at Ngezi, admits that it takes a lot for one to be given such an award.
“I am so happy for the award. I never thought I would win it because many people deserved it.
“The most important thing for a player to succeed is through disciplined. If you are not disciplined nobody will want to work with you especially the coaches.
“I just want to thank God for the award and giving me the talent of playing the beautiful game. I also want to urge my fellow footballers on the importance of discipline.
“Discipline is key in football and I feel elated because I know that if I am disciplined. I leave room for people to work with me and achieve more in life,” he said.
He added: “There are more awards to come because I am someone who always has an aim to achieve more.
“I know that nothing is impossible if you put hard work and commitment into it and that’s what I am trying to do.
“Life at Ngezi is okay and I am enjoying it, feels like home now though I am challenged to bring out the best in me and it’s a good thing because Ngezi has a lot of good players so everyone must prove his worth in the club,” he said
The former Dynamos star added that he hopes to spend the Christmas holiday with his family and friends and doesn’t have plans of leaving his current paymasters right now.
