Carlos Green to celebrate among the dead
26 January 2018
RAPPER Carlos Green turns 30 today and has said he will celebrate his birthday at his late mother’s grave in Murewa.
Carlos told this publication that his mother died in 2015 and he sees it worthwhile to celebrate his ‘born day’ at the graveyard.
He dedicates the song Kure Kure featuring Roki to his late mother which is penetrating in the music market.
“It’s now three years now after my mother died so I am remembering her on my birthday.
“I am turning 30 tomorrow (today) and I will spent my day at my mother’s graveyard.
“I will be also celebrating the life of my heroine who raised me, unfortunately she was taken to a better place at an early age.
“The song Kure Kure is based on a true story, because Roki also recently lost his mother,” he said.
“I wish she was still here to see me grow and see what I have accomplished.
“She would also see what I am planning for my future and I wish heaven had visiting hours so that I can frequently visit her.
“It’s so heart-breaking because she can’t get to know this new part of me and there are a lot things which I miss about her.”
He urged people who still have their mothers to take good care of them whilst they are still available.
“People should do everything with their parents whilst they are still alive.
“It’s a pity that I lost my mother when I was still young, I had not done justice to her.
“Step away from living a life of regret and step forward to the life of dreams, take care of your parents,” he said.
Meanwhile, Carlos is shooting videos of Kure Kure and Bundu songs to compliment audios.
