EVERGREEN defender Eric Chipeta will be available for selection today.

The Warriors face Lesotho in the COSAFA Castle Cup semi-final tonight at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium.

There were fears in camp that Chipeta, who was booked twice in the build-up to the semis, might be suspended ahead of tonight’s encounter.

He was booked in their goalless goal against Madagascar and their 2-1 win against Swaziland.

But Warriors manager Wellington Mpandare said Chipeta is legible today.

“In a tournament situation, a player can only be suspended when he accumulates two consecutive cards. He will be automatically out of the third game but Chipeta’s case is different. He was not booked against Seychelles.

“We have since asked about his situation from the tournament organisers and they said the group stage booking doesn’t count anymore. Chipeta will miss the final game if he is booked in the semi-final against Lesotho,” Mpandare explained.
