Award winning gospel musician, Reverend Togarepi Chivaviro says he is ready to give fans his new music and looks forward to an exciting 2018.
The Ebenezer hit-maker will be releasing his 14th album on January 22 and is already considering making better fortunes out of the forthcoming project.
Chivaviro has recorded eight tracks on the new album and has titled the offering, Matishamisa Jireh.
“This has been a wonderful year which we kicked off with the release of my current album titled Maranatha, the album has been one of my best in terms of sales and reach to fans.
“After achieving so much, we are now looking forward to our next project which we intend to release this January. The album is almost done and we are only waiting for the day when we give our fans the new music.
“This is an album we are thanking God for what he has done for us this year and what he will continue doing for everyone who will be listening to our music,” he said.
Some of the songs set to feature on the album include the title song- Matishamisa, It Is Not Over, Jesu Ndanga Ndakurasai, Jesus the Captain, Korona and Mwanangu Teerera among others.
“The album is a mixture of hymns and praise songs all thanking God because he is Jehovah Jireh, Our Provider,” he said.
The musician known for producing hit collaborations has also worked with different artistes on the song Matishamisa.
“As has become our culture we have also worked with different artistes on the title song and we will unveil who they are at the launch so that we won’t pre-empty everything before time,” he said.
According to the musician, the album will also carry his song-Handinyarare- a recent collaboration with superstar Oliver Mtukudzi.
Meanwhile, the reverend is enjoying the success of his latest DVD which was released last week.
