Chombo bail conditions relaxed

Former Finance Minister Ignatius Chombo had part of his bail conditions yesterday relaxed by a Harare magistrate.
Magistrate Josephine Sande ruled that Chombo will now report once a day from Monday to Friday.
The accused was initially ordered to report three times a day at Marlborough Police Station
The other conditions, which include to surrender his passport, not to visit Reserve Bank and ministry of Local Government offices and not to interfere with State witnesses remain in place.
Chombo is on $5000 bail on charges ranging from fraud, corruption and criminal abuse of office.
