CHINHOYI-based hip-hop artiste Shingayi Trevor Simoyi – better known as Styce – has dropped his second single titled Mia Bae featuring UK-based artiste Lamont Chitepo.

Lamont aka Tu Short made waves on national television with his video  “Maiwe” ft. Kin from Nigeria.

Mia Bae follows Styce’s ‘Want You On Side’ which he featured songbird Varaidzo and Tricky J produced by Dj Ace Tanner and J.AM.G.

The single was released under Block 101 entertainment.

In an interview, Styce said: “I was inspired by the lady I had crush with, my classmate at Chinhoyi University. Styce hogged the limelight with his hit ‘Wakandinyengedza’ which he featured Pauline, Briss Mbada and Mr Victor produced by Ace Tanner and since then has worked several seasoned artistes.

“2017 has been a great year for me, I achieved several things without maximum efforts because I am balancing my career with school work, and I am a full time student at Chinhoyi University.

“This year I released my first Ep Q2F (Quarter 2 fame) which featured lot of recognised artistes in Zimbabwe and I also worked on singles with Nyasha Timbe and Taurai Mandebvu.”

Added Styce: “I did a Joint with Sthandwa hit maker Nyasha Timbe called ‘Chimwe Changu’ which my family, fans and friends received well and I feel blessed working with destiny music.

“I’m to upload a new video soon which I worked with Afro spectacular by Dumisani Manyathela together with Ash and Tisha.” According to Styce he is set to drop the remix video of his track Mia Bae.

“I have lined up big names whom I can’t disclose now but I promise a bomb.”
