Dancehall Remedy celebrates six years

POPULAR Star FM dancehall slot – Dancehall Remedy – celebrates its sixth anniversary this Saturday with a bash featuring several chanters.
The programme presented by Godfather Templeman and Garry B every Thursday from 10pm till midnight will have its celebrations at the City Sports Centre.
The celebrations will also incorporate a cup clash contest between a number of dancehall sounds.
On the lineup are 40 artistes, 20 deejays and 10 dance groups billed to perform at the bash that starts as from midday.
Some of the names to look out for at the event are Soul Jah Love, Hwindi president, Kinna, Freeman, Killer T, Seh Calaz, Boom Berto and Maggikal among many others .
Speaking to the show organiser, Godfather Templeman, he said:
“This year Dancehall Remedy turned six years and we are happy to announce that come Saturday we have a big bash to celebrate our anniversary.
“All artistes have confirmed and it’s going to one big dancehall bash with all the top and upcoming dancehall artistes.
“Dancehall Remedy has grown over the years and we are very happy with the progress that it has made.
“We measure our success and growth with how many stars have come to light because of the show.
“The aim of the show is to continue to see the genre of Zim dancehall rise from strength to strength and be a better and appreciated genre not only in the country but on the continent.”
