DeMbare plan ahead

DYNAMOS will start the process of renewing contracts and signing some players after their showdown with Chicken Inn at National Sports Stadium on Saturday
The former champions have a chance to win the league if they beat Chicken Inn while FC Platinum fail to beat Chapungu at Ascot on the same day.
Yesterday Dynamos president Kenny Mubaiwa said the team is more focused on the league now before they can think of strengthening the team for next season.
Dynamos have already lost Lincoln Zvasiya, whose contract was terminated due to lack of discipline, while they could lose two or three more players who can be signed by foreign clubs.
These include Christian Ntouba Epoupa and Cleopas Kapupurika who is on loan from FC Platinum.
“We are focused on the league right now. We didn’t have time to think about plans on buying new players.
“Obviously we need them to field our team because some might leave us. But we don’t have that time right now because we need to do trials, medicals and other procedures. That will shift our focus from the league title,” he said.
Lloyd Mutasa has done well with what was largely considered as the weakest team when compared with FC, Ngezi Platinum and Chicken Inn.
“The coach has been focusing on players that are focusing on the weekend game so that’s what we have been working on.
“Plans to buy players are there. Maybe we will also renew contracts of those that are expiring this year.
“We will start talking and considering which players to buy after his weekend,” said Mubaiwa.
