‘DEMBARE SPIRIT WILL RISE’
23 November 2017
DYNAMOS captain Ocean Mushure is confident that his side will cause another upset and snatch the title on the last day of the season.
DeMbare have a chance to be crowned champions on Saturday if they beat Chicken Inn at National Sports Stadium while FC Platinum fail to beat Chapungu at Ascot.
And the Harare giants’ skipper said they are not new to spoiling their rivals’ parties saying the ‘spirit of DeMbare’ will play a part.
“The focus is to win our match against Chicken Inn for us to dream of lifting the title.
“Dynamos are not new to this; we have won the title on a similar fashion on a number of occasions and the same spirit with rise on this deciding day. This is football and anything can happen. Football is a game of celebrations and disappointments and that is going to happen on Saturday,” said Mushure.
The utility player said they are going into the game without pressure and it’s a big advantage on their side.
“We are going into match without any pressure; I understand others are going to the final game of the season wanting to win the title. We are going into the match focusing on a win and see what happens with others,” he said adding, “The boys are ready for the game and the morale is very high. They want to end the season in style since no one gave us a chance when the season started and a lot of things were said during the course.”
FC Platinum are in pursuit for a maiden championship and a win against Chapungu will see them crowned champions of Zimbabwe.
They also have a chance to be champions with any result if Dynamos fail to beat Chicken Inn.
“Remember they (FC Platinum) were booted out of the Chibuku Super Cup by the same team (Chapungu) so anything can happen,” said Mushure.
