AFTER Dynamos won their second win of the season at Ascot yesterday, the club’s management say they will do what they can to ensure Lloyd Mutasa continue to win games.

The Glamour Boys got their goals through Kuda Kumwala and Quality Kangadze while Philip scored at the death for Chapungu.

The result left Chapungu coach Tendai Chukuni on the brink while Mutasa now has to win against Harare City and save his job.

The DeMbare coach was given a three-match-ultimatum to collect nine points and he has already collected six so far.

Yesterday the club president Kenny Mubaiwa said their technical team needed all the support they can get to make sure the team continues to win.

“It is great that we are winning matches. But we need to be united as one family for the team to do even better. This is positive for us and we are hoping that we will continue to win matches,” said Mubaiwa.

His statements come at a time when a section of fans have been working against the club and mobilising for fans not to attend matches.

Coach Mutasa on the other hand has been trying to save his job while the board has left everyone in suspense after announcing that restructuring is on the way.

“I think at the end of the day what is important is for the Dynamos fans to be united. The players cannot do it without the fans. Fans are our important stakeholders.

“Yes, we may have differences but we cannot generalise all the fans.

And when fans do not come for our games, our rivals mock us. I don’t enjoy that and I’m sure every genuine DeMbare fan does not enjoy that too.”
