Dynamos leadership divided

…Ndiraya preferred to Chigowe
THE Dynamos leadership is understood to be divided on the next substantive coach.
While there are some keen to retain the current set-up led by Lloyd Chigowe, others would rather have former Ngezi Platinum coach Tonderai Ndiraya bounce back at the club.
A source yesterday claimed the chairman wants Chigowe to stay since he has been doing a great job, including saving Dynamos from relegation.
However, the decision will have to be made by the whole executive whose other members believe in Ndiraya.
The idea of a big-name coach is blamed for the poor results over the past two seasons amid claims there is a lot happening behind the scenes.
Chigowe is on record saying he would not mind staying for the post.
“I am quite relieved that I have managed to survive relegation. After this I would say that the novice coach has done the job. That is for the executive to decide, I only inherited this team.
“If picked, I will be ready to do the job but I call myself the chosen one. I was chosen to save the team from relegation and I have done that,” he said.
