DYNAMOS SET TO LOSE OCEAN
4 July 2017
SOUTH-African Premiership side Maritzburg are keen on Warriors defender, Ocean Mushure’s services.
The Dynamos skipper has been in fine form at the ongoing COSAFA Castle Cup tournament here in South Africa, scoring three goals so far and has understandably attracted interests.
Mushure was voted man-of-the-match after an inspiring performance in their 2-1 win against Swaziland in the quarter-final on Sunday.
H-Metro has it on good authority that Maritzburg representatives were inquiring about the defenders’ contract situation with Dynamos among other issues over the weekend.
Maritzburg are keen to try and land the defender’s signature as they beef their squad ahead of the 2017/18 season.
Mushure signed a two-year deal with the Glamour Boys at the beginning of the season.
Warriors assistant coach Lloyd Mutasa confirmed Maritzburg interests.
” Details are still sketchy for now. We are not yet sure of their position but they came to inquire about him. They have shown interest but nothing is concrete for now,” Mutasa confirmed.
Maritzburg is home for Evans Rusike and Blessing Moyo.
Mutasa added, “At his age, if he gets such an opportunity, it will be unfair to block it for him. He might not get the opportunity again because age is not on his side.
” He is crucial player and has been influential in terms of grinding results so far.”
As we revealed last week, Highlanders are also set to lose Prince Dube who will be going for trials at Ajax Cape Town.
