ExQ, Killer T to capitalise on 30 Billion Concert
16 April 2018
AFFABLE rapper and ladies’ man, ExQ, along with Killer T, will certainly capitalise on their inclusion in the 30 Billion Concert line-up as they have new albums to sample at event, according to their camps.
The show, which has been slated for HICC this Saturday, is set to be headlined by Nigerian superstar Davido while South African television personality Boitumelo Thulo is the show hostess.
Davido arrives Thursday while Boity is expected in the capital on Friday ahead of the concert.
On the local front, Jah Prayzah leads an array of supporting acts billed to perform at the show.
Besides ExQ and Killer T, top reggae/dancehall sound – Judgement Yard – has been included in the star-studded line-up.
Top club wheel-spinners Selekta Base and Royal DJs duo of Juice and AM are also part of the bill.
But it should be mentioned that ExQ and Killer T will not only add numbers but have something new to unveil to their fans as well.
ExQ, who has been posting promotional videos for the 30 Billion Concert, launched his album Tseu Tseu at the well-attended Unplugged Zimbabwe show last Saturday in Borrwdale Brooke.
After getting the support from Military Touch Movement where Jah Prayzah, Tahle, DJ Tamuka and Nutty O performed, ExQ will be expected to take the form to the 30 Billion Concert.
Like his counterpart Killer T’s promise last week, the show is also a double celebration for ExQ who is set to meet some of his loyal fans who missed the album launch, according to the rapper’s handlers.
The same goes for Killer T who recently told H-Metro he was also ready to sample some of their new songs at the HICC show.
“This show is a bit special since it comes at a time when we have just launched our new album, which has been endorsed by many.
“As expected, we are going to sample the track we did with Jah Prayzah called Tiwirirane even though some fans refer to it as Hondo,” said Killer T’s manager Kudzai Biston ahead of the 30 Billion Concert.
As the countdown to the gig continues, event organisers insist they will only release advance tickets two days before the concert when Davido arrives.
The cheapest ticket goes for $20.
Fans will have to fork out $50 for VIP and $100 for VVIP.
The tickets will be sold at all Chicken Slice branches in the capital, Coloursel and Liquor Boys Bar & Butchery.
What has raised the appeal of the concert is the fact that youthful entertainers will be in charge from start to finish.
It’s also a night where new game-changers in showbiz from the best of both worlds will be showcasing their talent under one roof.
The show starts at 8pm till late.
