Freeman drops single
17 November 2016
Zim dancehall sensation, Freeman – real name Emergy Sylvester Chizanga – has dropped a single track dubbed Mashokoevanhu.
The Joina City hit-maker encourages people to ignore words which demotivate and eye for success in the new song.
In an interview, the HKD Boss said;
“In the song, I am encouraging people to keep focused on whatever they are doing in order to be successful.
“In life there are people who want to pull you down with words as they criticise but I am encouraging people to ignore and progress with lives because there is no consensus regarding life experiences.
“When people criticise you just pay a blind eye to the efforts and try to do what pleases you. Life has no formulae so the track urges people to listen to your conscience rather than to people.”
The self-proclaimed Dancehall Doctor’s track was recorded and produced at the Chill Spot Records.
He is buoyed by the success of the videos from the album Mangoma ihobho which are being played on Trace Tv with tracks like Siya, Zvemufiru, Zvakaipadaindarega, and Happy Time being popular.
Meanwhile, Freeman is expected to tour South Africa for Madirirano Tour where he will combine forces with Hwindi Prezident, Killer and Seh Calaz.
“I am holding shows ahead of this festive season and I promise to deliver good music. I am expected to travel to South Africa for the Madirarano tour which starts on November 25 in Durban.
“I have been in SA for several times and I can’t wait to renew romance with them.”
