Funds stall Gringo productions

ACTOR Lazarus Boora, fondly known as Gringo, says financial challenges are stalling his productions.
The celebrated comedian said he has two comedy scripts ready but lack of money is hindering the progress.
“I have two scripts, which are ready but there is no money to make available to the audience.
“Financial problems are hindering my progress but I have a lot to off to the people of Zimbabwe.
“I did the budget and some people have just promised but nothing has materialised,” he said.
“We have rehearsed one script and I have named it Gringo Nyama.
“I am yet to name the other one. People should expect well-polished productions.
“I can’t give the date when people can expect these productions but as long as we get money it will be delivered to their exposal.”
Gringo also told this publication that he takes on social issues in a comic way rather than serious issues.
“I am there to crack jokes to people so that relieve them from stress.
“I provide entertainment to people so that they do away with their problems,” said Gringo.
The comedian also hailed Zimbabweans for their love of peace during the just ended matches to the State House.
“I pray people of Zimbabwe will continue to love peace.
“I want to thank everyone for remaining calm during the exercise,” addressed Gringo.
