A SELF -CONFESSED lady of the night has appeared in court accused of stealing an I Phone and $155 from her client.

Nyasha Makoni, 24, was not asked to plead when she appeared before Harare magistrate Reginald Mutero charged with robbery.

She will be back in court today.

Allegations are that on December 25 around 4 am at corner Sixth Street and Livingstone Avenue in Harare, the complainant Nhokwara Lazarus met Makoni while he was driving to his place of residence in Glen Lorne.

Lazarus sought to engage her services and they agreed to have sex for an agreed fee.

During the course of the intercourse, the accused person changed the amount of money she had charged the complainant.

Lazarus refused to comply with the new position and accused person threatened to scream if her part of bargain could not be met.

Makoni eventually screamed and it drew the attention of her fellow ladies of the night who thronged the place where Makoni and Lazarus were parked and surrounded them.

The other ladies of the night demanded that Lazarus give Makoni the money she was demanding while at the same time threatening him.

Makoni with the help of her fellow ladies of the night took Lazarus’ I phone cellphone and cash $155.

The cellphone was recovered.
