Hwindi Prezident readies SA Tour

SOUTH AFRICA bound chanter, Hwindi Prezident, real name Bessel Mugo Parewa –says he can’t wait to meet his fans across the Limpopo.
The Chitungwiza bred chanter, who will be travelling to the neighbouring country for the third this year, says he is ready to cement his relationship with his new fans during the Madirirano Tour.
This time he holds three shows starting November 25 at Urban Lounge in Durban.
After this affair, he proceeds Cape Town for another performance at Kensington Hall in Cape Town before wrapping the tour on November 27 at Europa Club in Pretoria.
During this tour, he will combine forces with fellow chanters Freeman, Seh Calaz and Killer T.
In an interview, Hwindi Prezident said:
“I promise the best during the tour, I take every show serious and I don’t want to disappoint fans.
“It’s my third time to perform in South Africa and I want to assure fans that its must attend gigs.
“I have a couple of new songs which I am going to unveil in the foreign land and I am confident music lovers will like them.”
The energetic singer also told this publication that he has released two singles titled Kamusalala and a Kwaito song Giroriya.
“I have two new tracks produced and recorded by Marlon T of First Class records.
“The track Kamusalala encourages people to know the real self about their partners because nowadays women are now pretending to be church girls whilst they are party animals.
“I did a Kwaito flair song to show how versatile I am, it is indeed an early Christmas gift to my fans. I want to keep fans on their feet ahead of the festive season.”
Meanwhile, Hwindi Prezident will be touring the country performing during the HIV and AIDS Campaign courtesy of National AIDS Council of Zimbabwe in conjunction with Werras entertainment.
“It’s the opportunity for me to extend my fan base at the same time educating against the HIV. I am liking the initiative as it saves lives of many.
“We have gone to Karoi, Kariba, Chitungwiza, Banket among other places and we are yet to invade Beitbridge as well as Bulawayo.
“The campaign shows are done during the day thus targeting Children, Youths and adults. To me I see it as a positive step.”
He also said he is working on his debut album due for release soon.
