I invest in my fans: Tuku

ICONIC singer Oliver “Tuku” Mtukudzi reckons he has a special bond with his fans who trail him wherever he performs.
Tuku opened up on the sidelines of the annual Nyanga Golf Tournament after party held at Montclair Hotel in the resort town last weekend.
Tuku, who has become part and parcel of the annual golf jamboree said:
“It feels good being part of this event; after this event l know they have already included me in next year’s event.
“I have created a special bond with my fans and that’s why they turned out in numbers for this show.
“I will continue doing my best for them.”
“This event is important in promoting domestic tourism.
“We need to do our best in promoting our tourist destinations.”
Tuku, who was the main act at the event, wowed fans with a catalogue of both yesteryear and current hits.
He played hits which include Hossana, Tozeza Baba and Bvuma among others.
Meanwhile, Alexio Kawara who warmed the stage before Tuku, could not hide his elation after being included in the lineup for the second time in a row.
Kawara, who is set to celebrate his 40th birthday in November, also paraded his wife and two sons in public for the first time. Zi Judgement Yard duo of Too Bad and Abisha Palmer also had a good day in office.
