TAURAI Mangwiro has declared that he wants to win the Chibuku Super Cup with Triangle.

Triangle are out of the league race and this could be their only chance for silverware.

They face Black Rhinos at Rufaro on Saturday.

“It will be sweet if we go on and win the Chibuku cup. When the tournament took place last year, I was not able to take part as I was at Zifa.

“I really wanted to defend the trophy that I had won following a very fine run with Harare City in 2015. I still feel that this year we can do much better and go all the way to defend the cup.

“I feel that winning the cup will cover up for our poor run in the league where we failed to make an impact and challenge for honours. We will not read much into individuals but we are going to play as a team,” said Mangwiro.

When Mangwiro won the Chibuku Super Cup, he went on to lead Harare City in the CAF Confederation Cup.

He then did not last the distance at Sunshine City that year.
