Jah Prayzah charms Yemi Alade

. . . ‘I ONLY HEARD HER ON RADIO’
Jah Prayzah’s next big duet with celebrated Nigerian songstress Yemi Alade, has all the ingredients of a great love song.
It has an artiste slowly charming his way into North Africa featuring a songbird who has already achieved the feat with her hot single “Jonny” already sitting on over 77 million views on YouTube. In fact the exact number at the time of writing this is 77 671 613 views. She is already a winner of the Best Female artiste MTV award for African Music in both 2015 and 2016.
The song will be unleashed to Zimbabwe tomorrow as it is part of 14 songs Jah Prayzah has on his “Kutonga kwaro” album set for launch at HICC. The rest of the world will also access an accompanying video soon after Zimbabwe watches the unveiling of the video at HICC.
H-Metro, as usual, had exclusive sight of the video to the song titled “Nziyo Yerudo” – loosely translated, “love song”.
Jah Prayzah plays the role of a vendor who sells African artifacts to tourists and he comes across Yemi Alade – playing herself.
Jah is munching his ice-cream in somewhat unhygienic fashion when he notices the great Alade.
“Anonzi Yemi Alade, ndaingomunzwira paradio,” he sings.
The collaboration, set to be popularized by the classic video, sees Jah, the vendor, live his dream following Yemi through a journey that takes them to rural Africa all the way to the expensive spots of South Africa.
His attire changes and he is soon transformed, presumably by Yemi, into a hot looker that suits the profile of her lover.
The conclusion shows the creative artist in Jah Prayzah and the abilities of his video producer, Godfather, a Nigerian based in South Africa.
The baseline is courtesy of Jah’s new wonder producer, Tamuka.
