Jaure looks to the future

NGEZI Platinum captain Partson Jaure says they are shifting focus from the CAF Confederation Cup to the league.
The platinum miners agonisingly bowed out of the continental tournament after they were held to a nil all draw by the Angolan side Recreativo do Libolo on Saturday at the NSS.
Ngezi could have easily won the match for them to progress to the next round had they could have converted chances they created.
Speaking to H-Metro, the former Dynamos defender said the team is now focusing on the future.
“We are now out of the tournament. We did everything we could but we failed.
“What’s left for us as a team is to plan the way forward.
“We are starting to make preparations for the league so that we do not repeat the same mistake,” he said.
Jaure gave credit to teammates.
“I think the team worked really hard up to this stage.
“It was not an easy journey but all things has to come to an end.
“I believe we have learnt a lot since it was our first time to play for such a tournament as a team and I hope we are going to improve for the better.
“I want to also thank our coach Tonderai Ndiraya for his mentorship.
“He has been guiding us since we started the tournament. It is his perseverance that has seen the team intact.”
