MUSICIAN Jah Prayzah’s camp says they are ready to unleash the crooner’s new video – Ange-lo – featuring Jamaican reggae star Jah Cure to be released tomorrow.

The video will be released midnight on Valentine’s Day and will be unveiled simultaneously on YouTube along with other television stations including MTV Base and Trace Africa.

The video is love themed and a definite match for lovebirds to sing along as they celebrate the month of love.

“We are all set for Angel-Lo’s big release around midnight on Valentine’s Day. This is a love song from Jah Prayzah and Jah Cure and we are excited about the collaboration.

“Jah Cure has a huge following of which most are women who love his voice, now imagine having the two voices merged together.

“Working with him was something Jah Prayzah has always wanted so that he could appeal more to female fans,” said his manager Keen Mushapaidze.

The video was shot in Barcelona.

Jah Prayzah maintained his mbira and saxophone beats fusing them with a Spanish guitar that gives the globe the best of both worlds.

Jah has also continued with his trend of performing the songs in Shona and English.

Mushapaidze said the video will be one of the many projects they have lined up for the year.

“We will be having a concert to celebrate the duet soon in Harare before we continue giving fans more singles as the year progresses.

“The album is still coming at the end of the year and to keep our fans entertained we will be doing several projects which we would rather discuss after they are done.

“We have more artistes we still want to work with but the information will be available once we have something tangible,” he said.

He also said the 3rd Generation boss is thriving on building a legacy.

“As one of our code of conduct or value, we thrive to build the Jah Prayzah brand rather than compete with any other.

“We believe that we can survive through the industry by working together rather than fighting silent battles,” he said.
