Magaya on false prophets
3 January 2017
PROPHETIC Healing and Deliverance Ministries founder Prophet Walter Magaya has said social media and false prophets are a threat to freedom of worship.
Prophet Magaya this year would be tough to Christians that if they do not give themselves to God for help as new laws will be put in place that will threaten freedom of worship.
He said this during a church service he held for 35000 PHD prayer partners at his Prospect prayer mountain on New Year’s Day.
“Let all Christians join hands in prayer against social media for spreading lies against prophets such as that of cucumbers and the like.
“Rise of false prophets trying to make their name by devising underhand things said to be miracles will lead authorities to revise rules and laws that will affect innocent Christians and genuine prophets,” said Prophet Magaya.
He reiterated that his 2017 theme ‘shifting to higher levels’ is only applicable to those given the grace to hear what he is teaching not everyone else outside that grace.
“We speak spiritual things to spiritual people and only those in spirit will hear and benefit from what God is revealing to those given grace to hear the words,” said Prophet Magaya.
“Shifting to higher levels is not applicable to those who are outside this grace and I thank God that PHD prayer partners will never be the same this year, zvasiyana.
“What feeds others is different from what feeds us and because of that our success is from what we believe and rely on,” said Prophet Magaya.
On the New Year’s Eve, Prophet Magaya urged nations to rely on God saying the devil is roaring like a lion looking for a nation to devour by causing all sorts of problems.
“Before light came there was darkness, darkness in all areas of life but when the light came on earth darkness disappeared and as I light this candle I declare that let there be light,” said Prophet Magaya leading a multitudes of people that attended PHD Cross Over prayer night.
“We have visitors from various nations here, as you light your candle let there be light in your nations and let there be light in Zimbabwe and all darkness disappear,” he added.
After a prayer, he pronounced a blessing and asked the multitudes to celebrate with a song and fire crackers were heard and suddenly heavy rains poured that left many soaked but people were not moved.
Ministers Christopher Mushohwe and Nyasha Chikwinya were part of the guests that attended the prayer meeting.
Visitors came from Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, United States of America, Botswana, Malawi, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Namibia, and Mozambique among others.
Yadah Voices and Blessing Shumba provided entertainment.
