FC PLATINUM and Ngezi Platinum go into their first clash of the season next week on the same points after the weekend results.

This is after Ngezi Platinum suffered their first defeat of the season, going down 1-0 to Bulawayo Chiefs away, the same club that also handed FC Platinum their only defeat so far.

At 38 points each, the team that will win at Baobab will get a three point advantage.

“We are not going to change the way we train, we are not going to change the way we play and approach.

It is just another game of football and we should go there with a positive mind, work and get a positive result,” FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza said.

FC Platinum ensured they remain on course with a 4-0 win over Shabanie on Saturday.

Mapeza said: “At the end of the day we wanted to get a result, whether 1-0, 2-0 or 3-0. What we wanted as a club is to get the three points. I’m happy we got four goals today and I know if we had applied ourselves more, we could have got more goals. At the end of the day, I can’t complain.”
