15 August 2017
ORGANISERS of the much-anticipated SpringFest to be headlined by Jamaican chanter Beenie Man have assured fans of maximum security at the show.
The potentially-explosive festival will be held Alex Sports Club on August 26 where the Girls Dem Sugar will be renewing his romance with locals after he last visited our shores seven years ago for the Lion Lager Festival.
And with the festival coinciding with the last day of the Harare Agricultural Show, event organisers say they have decided to beef up security as they anticipate a record crowd owing with the uptake of advance tickets.
“We have done our part in has far as providing maximum security is concerned since August 26 is the busiest day on the entertainment calendar.
“By the way, August 26 is also the last day of the (Harare Agric) show where hordes of merry-makers will be hopping from place to place for fun and we have to be prepared and up to the task.
“As such, we can’t afford to relax but we had to beef our security to ensure that fans get real value for their money.
“We decided to beef security so that people won’t lose their valuables at the show,” said Dee Nosh.
Preparation wise, D-Nosh said they were not bothered by what other promoters are doing since August 26 is the busiest day on the entertainment calendar.
“We are focused on what we do and in this case, we have stepped up preparations and tickets are now available.

“We hope to start as early as after launch and ensure that we give fans real value for their money at this fun-filled day.
“It’s indeed a show not to be missed and being our inaugural festival, we do promise a show of a lifetime.”
Despite being trend-setters in the game, Dee Nosh said they will not rest on their laurels as they anticipate a festival of a lifetime.
“Like we indicated earlier this year, as 2 kings, we have come up with this themed event which caters for various genres.
“We are aware it will be held on the last day of the Harare Agricultural show but we have done ll the ground work to ensure fans get real value for their money.
“Last year at the same period, we hosted Mafikizolo and KO and it was a huge success. This time around, we are hosting Beenie Man, another crowd puller.
“Since we have been holding most events in HICC, we have decided to move to an outdoor place for mixed crowd.
