ZIMBABWE Cricket fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani says his focus is on winning matches for the country.
The 21-year-old said he was delighted to make his debut in the historic four-day Test against the Proteas at St George’s Park in Port Elizabeth saying it was a confidence booster.
“As a youngster this was big for me and being included in the side to face guys like AB de Villiers and Amla was a great experience,” he said.
Despite not picking a wicket in the match, Muzarabani said he was not under any pressure, thanks to his coaches and teammates.
“I did not feel any pressure. The team was there for me and the coaches made it easy for me to perform,” he said.
Muzarabani has become a favourite of many cricket lovers in the country and he says he has a lot to offer.
Against the Proteas, he conceded 48 runs in the 13 overs he bowled, constantly bowling at 140km/h.
He said he is also working on his batting to be a complete player.
“I do not want to be just a bowler, I want to be a bowler who also bats and this is my goal and I will work towards it,” he said.
Muzarabani has been included in the team for the Bangladesh tri-series and he says he is delighted and he will perform to his full ability to win matches for the country.
