Nabbed over camouflage
6 January 2016
A Hatfield man has been nabbed after he was reportedly found wearing a camouflage jacket.
Neverson Mwamuka, 30, pleaded not guilty when he appeared before Mbare magistrate Kudzai Zihove charged with unlawful possession or wearing a camouflage.
He is remanded out of custody to January 9 for trial.
The complainant in this matter is Watson Chizengeya who is employed by the Zimbabwe National army.
It is the State’s case that on December 30 at Mbare Musika at around 15 pm, Chizengeya saw Mwamuka wearing a camouflage jacket.
Allegations are that when Chizengeya approached Mwamuka he introduced himself as a soldier.
A police report was lodged leading Mwamuka’s arrest.
Yvone Gurira appeared for the State.
