Nichrut head coach was impressed by his team’s performance in the first half of the season despite being third place from the bottom.

Nichrut are 16th at the log with 13 points but the coach still has hope that they will accomplish their target which is to survive relegation.

“We started well but we were disturbed by quite a number of injuries that we faced at the middle of the first half,” Nyikadzino told H-Metro.

“Our team was exposed due to these injuries hence we started to face defeats and failed to score goals towards the end of the first round,” added Nyikadzino.

“It’s never too late now, we will try to rectify our slips and come up with strategies to avoid repeating the same mistake,” he said.

“We still have the chance to do better in the second round but we need to put more focus,” Nyikadzino told H-Metro.

Speaking about reshuffling the team as well as his thoughts about championship the coach said,

“Definitely we are going to offload and bring in new players, but now l can’t review the players we are offloading and the ones we are going to bring in the team,” said Nyikadzino.

“The championship is still tricky now however FC Platinum on 6 points advantages, what l can say is the championship is between the two platinums,” he added.
