PEACE BACK IN TWO WEEKS
12 February 2018
DYNAMOS right back Peace Makaha says he is recovering well from an ankle injury suffered at training.
Makaha watched his teammates play Mushowani at Rufaro yesterday in pre-season training matches.
The right back was one of DeMbare’s best players last season and he is expected to play a big part this season for Lloyd Mutasa’s charges.
“I sprained my ankle at training in the first week of February. The doctors said I will be okay in the next three weeks.
“I have already finished the first week and I am now in my second week. So far all is going well and I will be ready to fight for my place in the team soon.
“I will be ready for the season when it starts, I will be as good as brand new,” said Makaha.
The young defender is hoping to reach another level this year.
“What God has in store for me is what I am willing to receive and be satisfied with.
“My dream for the season is to win the championship and play more games to make our fans and the coaches who trusted me to play happy.
“I am going to play very hard and do my best for the team to claim the championship,” he said.
Makaha is aware that it will not be easy getting a place in the starting XI this year.
“The team is looking good because it has been mixed with players with experience, like Blessing Moyo and it also has new talented young players.
“I urge the young players to work hard and to have more confidence in themselves if they want to make it in the football industry.
“They should not be afraid of anything and they should not panic as well. As it stands right now, our team is a big threat. We are in this competition to win the title again,” he said.
