Ricky Fire takes on hip hop

DANCEHALL artiste, Ricky Fire, has taken up hip hop on his songs off his forthcoming album, Seven Seals.
The Ndiratidze Zvaunoita singer released a clip of the video to his hip hop song called Style and Pattern.
It has, however, been received with mixed feelings on social media platforms.
The album, a project meant to showcase Ricky Fire’s versatility also features a sungura and gospel track.
His manager, Blue Ice said:
“Ricky Fire was trying to show his versatility and I feel this has made people to want to hear the album.
“People want to have a listen to how Ricky Fiore sounds when he does gospel, hip hop and sungura and
I feel that is what is going to make people want to have a listen to it.
“The album still caters for dancehall fans as there are a number of good tunes that are like to be popular with the dancehall heads,” he said.
The official launch album launch was held last Saturday at Dam View in Chitungwiza
