CHICKEN Inn left back Devine Lunga is over the moon after signing a two-year deal with the ABSA Premiership side Golden Arrows.

Lunga, who played his last game at Rufaro against Dynamos on Sunday, says he is ready for the big step.

“I am more than happy to join Golden Arrows, I am already feeling like I am living my dream.

“It has always been my wish to wake up one day playing for a bigger and better club.

“I would love to believe that this is just the beginning and a lot more is on my way,” Lunga said.

The left back was outstanding at the recent COSAFA Cup tournament won by Zimbabwe.

“It was at COSAFA that the Golden Arrows people got to know me, they were impressed with my performance and they expressed their intentions.

“I was over excited and couldn’t turn down the deal,” he said.

Despite being talented and proving his abilities within the local league, Lunga says he is not taking the new challenge lightly.

“I am happy and scared at the same time, I know it is not going to be an easy road for me to walk, yes I did my best to get this contract but what’s left is for me to do my best to keep the contract.

“ABSA is not a small challenge, there is going to be real and tough competition but I am going to work hard to be where I wish to be,” Lunga said.
