Sex in kombi
9 January 2018
A DZIVARESEKWA couple was caught by police officers having sexual intercourse in a commuter omnibus before the husband took to his heels evading arrest.
For that reason, Prosper Kachaka, 26, appeared before Harare magistrate Annie Ndiraya facing charges of having sexual intercourse with a minor.
Kachaka pleaded not guilty to the charges, got $50 bail and was remanded to January 22 for trial.
The State led by Desire Chidanire confirmed the two are now husband and wife, and is alleging that sometime in October 2016 around 8pm, the complainant (who cannot be named) met the accused while going for shopping.
Kachaka was said to have been driving a kombi and asked the juvenile to accompany him to his friend’s place.
The accused then asked the complainant to have sexual intercourse with him which the latter first denied but later consented to.
They had sex in the omnibus on the seat.
Amidst the intercourse, two police officers are said to have opened the door and the accused fled. The two officers then took the juvenile to her aunt who then told her mother before lodging a complaint with the police.
