. . . singer hails 2017 season
. . . owes success to God

MUSICIAN Peter Moyo says he can’t complain about the year 2017 which is coming to an end despite the majority of artistes failing to make ends meet.

The Young Igwe, as the entertainer is fondly known, said his family and members were content with what they get after live shows.

In an interview with H-Metro, the Utakataka Express boss said he was hoping for better fortunes in the festive season now upon us.

“This year has been a good year for me and Utakataka Express since we managed to drop our latest album titled Mopao Mokonzi which is doing well on the music market.

“This album took me to another level as we managed to increase attendance during live shows.

“I want to thank God for what he has done to my life from day one up to this date.”

He added:

“I want to thank fans for the support they have been giving me.

“As a token of appreciation, I am holding a nation tour holding shows. Recently, I was in Chinhoyi, Banket and Guruve.”

This Friday, Young Igwe returns to the capital after spending weeks performing in the outskirts as he is expected to stage a show in Westlea at Club Veritus.

“I am billed to hold a show at Club Veritus in Westlea.

“That’s the only show which I have in Harare before another one on Saturday in Banket.

“I want to urge all music lovers who are in Harare to make a date with me this Friday at the venue which I have played for several times.”

Meanwhile, Young Igwe is currently shooting videos of his latest album.
