BUSINESSMAN Tarirai Mnangagwa, who grabbed headlines after he discovered his wife Dion Kunene had bought the baby she claimed was theirs, has lodged a complaint with the police.
Tarirai lodged a complaint with Interpol alleging that Dion had stolen US$1 500 from him before she left for South Africa.
“Before she left for South Africa, she took US$1 500 and went away; I believe that is the money she is using during her stay in South Africa.
“The police informed me that they have started their investigations and I am praying that she may be brought back home since she has a case to answer.
“We now know her whereabouts as well as her mother’s place whom she is staying with.
“Apart from the theft charges, we have also filed child abuse charges against her and Chantelle because they made the minor to go through a lot in the last seven months,” he said.
The dispute between Dion and Tarirai emanated after Tarirai found out that Dion had faked pregnancy, bought a baby and lied that it was theirs.
Tarirai also alleges that Dion had connived with the real mother of the baby called Chantelle Ndlovu in the deceit.
He revealed that he found out about the trick after the biological father of the child Joseph Ngwenya informed him about what had happened.
