Top celebs for Mahwindo’s 41st bash

SOCIALITE and entrepreneur, Wanisayi “Mahwindo” Mutandwa, wants to break records when she holds her birthday bash at The Volt Club on Sunday.

Mahwindo, who will be turning 41 years, says she has invited top celebrities to grace the day.

The event starts Sunday around 8pm ending Monday at 2am.

Among her guests are soccer legends and administrators, fashion gurus, events management personalities, business executives, artistes, music promoters and family.

Speaking ahead of the 41st birthday bash, Mahwindo said:

“My birthday starts around 8pm at The Volt Club and we do expect a full house since I have invited my friends from various sectors comprising soccer legends, top musicians, Government officials, fellow socialites, music promoters and friends.

“Dress code will be strictly gold and black and of course ripped jeans. Around midnight, Jabavu Drive will sing the ‘happy birthday song’ where the party will continues till Monday around 2am.

Quizzed on some celebrities set to grace the event, Mahwindo said:

“My mentor Alick Macheso will definitely come and he will be the guest speaker should all go according to plan.

“Suluman Chimbetu is among the artistes set to grace the event and we are likely to host the soccer legends after party between the Warriors and the Barcelona legends.

“We have also invited fellow promoters like Josh, Chipaz, 2 Kings and Divine Assignments as part of the proceedings.”

In another interview, show host and management at The Volt club said they were ready for the mega party.

“The Volt team is working flat out to make the event a memorable one,” said joint proprietor Boss Spencer Madziya.

He also described Mahwindo as a loving and innovative businesswoman and socialite who continues to inspire new generations.

“To us in this industry, Mahwindo is a phenomenal character, who has managed to unite all of us, hence people will see a different event altogether.

“We do expect socialites like Ginimbi, politicians, musicians, and soccer legends and media practitioners among other friends of Mahwindo.”

Added Boss Spencer:

“Mahwindo is also the reason why most joints in and around the country are still operational as she provides tips on how to run the joint.

“In short, Mahwindo deserves a party befitting a queen she is.”
