TRIANGLE coach Taurai Mangwiro believes he now has a more polished side and the 5-0 win over Shabanie over the weekend was no fluke.

The win means they are now 12 points behind log leaders FC Platinum and stand a good chance to fight their way back into the title race.

“The team is doing well I must say and I have seen the great potential we have of ending the season well.

“I believe the team is more polished now with a few new faces to beef up the squad.

“What’s important is making sure we are prepared for each game that we are left to play,” he said.

Mangwiro was a happy man when his side floored Shabanie 5-0 at Gibbo, their biggest win so far.

He said his focus now is on collecting maximum points.

“The boys put on an impressive show over the weekend. We needed to start the second half of the season on a high and it was a perfect victory for us.

“What we need now is to work on ensuring that we get as many wins as possible and end well in the next games,” he said.
