TUKU HAILS PHD

SUPERSTAR Oliver “Tuku” Mtukudzi cemented his relationship with Prophet Walter Magaya by joining Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries in celebrating Yadah Hotel’s first anniversary on Saturday.
Mtukudzi was accompanied by his wife Daisy and put on a splendid performance.
He played mainly sing along tracks like Hossana, Munendipasa Manyemwa, Kurarama and Kanga Mhodzi yembeu.
Tuku was among musicians who performed on the official opening of Yadah Hotel last year and this time a firework display marked the anniversary ceremony soon after his performance.
Prophet Magaya introduced Tuku as a legend with songs that have a good message knitted together with instruments and strong to resist urging his members to feel free in showing their dancing antics.
“Allow me to welcome our legend Oliver Mtukudzi and Amai Mtukudzi, by virtue of invitation he is singing at Yadah Hotel tonight under our banner,” said Prophet Magaya.
“Feel free to dance and I am sure cameras will spare you from capturing your dancing antics, get the messages in his songs and if you feel you have been defiled by dancing tomorrow I will deliver you during church service.
“I will address you soon after his performance,” said Prophet Magaya.
Tuku thanked PHD members for their support by singing along all his songs promising to be with them in refusing to be poor when he sang Dzandimomotera one of his singles released in 1977.
“Ini handimbodi Nhamo, PHD munondipasa manyemwe regai nditi yayayayaya imi moti yaya tofambirana,” said Tuku in one of the stanzas.
