‘Watora Mari fever grips Harare’

AS the countdown to the Watora Mari Concert to be held this Friday continues, organisers have expressed satisfaction with the response from fans.
The concert will see Tanzanian star Diamond Platnumz and Jah Prayzah sharing the stage at the Harare International Conference Centre supported by a contingent of local artistes.
South African model Tiffany who features on the duo’s video, Watora Mari, will also be at HICC to join them on stage.
2 Kings Entertainment who are behind the gig said it is now ‘talk of the town’ and they are looking forward to a full house come Friday.
“We can confirm that we’ve done our part when it comes to preparations and we’re just waiting the day.
“The atmosphere is very high; fans are purchasing advance tickets, a sign that the fever has gripped music lovers.
“The general atmosphere is unbelievable and indications are that fans can’t resist a date with Tanzanian star-Diamond Platinumz and Jah Prayzah,” said Dee Nosh.
The local artistes to perform include Killer T, Stunner, Ex Q, Judgment Yard and Trevor D.
“We continue urging fans to buy advance tickets to avoid hustles at the gate.
“We’re expecting Diamond on Wednesday (tonight) with his band. He will have a press conference on Thursday as well as familiarizing with some of the fans.”
Meanwhile, 2 Kings Entertainment will be hosting Jamaican star Jah Cure at the same venue (HICC) on December 16.
