MUSIC lovers better move quickly, tickets for the Watora Mari concert are selling fast, organisers have said.

The concert, which will see Tanzanian star Diamond Platnumz and Jah Prayzah sharing the stage, will be held at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) on December 2.

The duo is currently rocking Africa with the duet Watora Mari, thus the theme of event.

“We are very excited with the response from fans. The tickets are selling fast and we continue to encourage fans to purchase tickets in advance,” said Dee Nosh of 2 Kings Entertainment.

Dee Nosh said the arrangement of having advance tickets is meant to avoid congestion and inconveniencing fans.

“The idea of advance tickets should be utilised. The whole idea is to avoid congestion; we also don’t want to inconvenience music lovers.

“We end up having a situation whereby some artistes perform while fans are still outside so we encourage people to buy advance tickets,” said Dee Nosh.

Advance tickets are available at JP Studios (Belvedere), Sopranos (Avondale), Joina City Mattress, Coloursell Shop (Newlands) and other Coloursell Shops in the capital.

It will be Diamond Platnumz’s first show in Zimbabwe and his fan base appears to be growing thanks to a duet with Jah Prayzah.

While all eyes are on the two performers, there is also going to be performances by Killer T, Stunner, Trevor D and Judgment Yard.

Killer T, who recently released his new album – Bvunza Tinzwe –, is also out to prove his mettle following mixed reactions to his CD.

The Mbare-bred chanter is known his good performance and his camp said they are coming for a purpose.

It should also be noted that it will be Stunner’s first performance in Harare after being slapped with community service for negligence driving.
Judgment Yard are certified entertainers and they are no disappointers while Trevor D remains a ladies’ favourite.

“We have a set of surprise acts as well, so fans should just come in their numbers and enjoy,” added Nosh.

Meanwhile, 2 Kings Entertainment will also be hosting Jah Cure at the same venue (HICC) on December 16.
