Women fight over house
9 January 019
A HATCLIFFE woman is at odds with her husband’s first wife over ownership of their house.
Faith Chaneka, the second wife, opened up at the Harare Civil Court where she applied for a protection order against Clara Mutize citing verbal abuse.
“She always insults me, saying I am staying at her premises but the stand is in my husband’s name,” said Faith.
In response Clara claims she did not assault Faith in any way since she only met her on December 14 when they appeared in court.
“I am surprised kuti vakandisungisa vachiti I attacked her.
“My husband no longer listens to me so I can never convince him to appear in court maybe amainini might do so,” she said.
Presiding magistrate Noah Gwatidzo postponed the matter to January 10 to ensure that husband can testify.
