2 July 2018
DANCER Zoey Sifelani was on Saturday afternoon injured at an accident scene along Willowvale Road where she had stopped to assist victims.
Two people died on the spot.
The dancer, who was in the company of her Red Angels outfit, said she was lucky to be alive after she was injured while fleeing from another motorist who had veered off the road heading towards her crew.
One of her dancers Rachel Mutiya was injured on her leg, arm, chest and back and was rushed to Harare Central Hospital.
Zoey suffered some minor bruises on her right arm.
“It’s a miracle that I am alive speaking to you, it must be God that I escaped unhurt.
“We had just stopped along Willowvale Road to help the victims and as we were about to assist them, another car came right at us.
“I and my other two girls managed to escape whilst the car went straight to hit Rachel,” she said.
She said her dancer was badly injured and might be out for some weeks.
“While my dancer is being attended in hospital, my only fear was to have my bums injured at the accident scene.”
