DYNAMOS coach Biggie Zuze is a man dealing with many issues at the moment.
He needs a hug.
Insiders indicate that his statements after the 2-0 defeat to FC Platinum have not gone down well with a leadership that do not want to share the blame for the team’s pathetic performances.
After the humiliation at Rufaro, Zuze hurled all spears at his bosses, calling for better treatment of players financially.
And by Tuesday, Zuze had to deal with the possibility that his players would not train in protest over outstanding bonus payments.
As they go into battle at Rufaro today against Black Rhinos, the reality is he is again expected to perform miracles with a team that lacks motivation.
Apart from the mental preparedness of the team, other critics have pointed that the team lacks quality to challenge for the title.
Zuze on the other hand has tried to give an impression that he never really back-stabbed former number one, Lloyd Mutasa.
He accepted responsibility for the team’s poor run this season, saying he was “part of the project since the beginning of the season”.
Now Zuze must fight to avoid losing the dressing room to some players that were loyal to Mutasa, get results to pacify the bosses he criticised and work on motivating players always protesting against non-payment of bonuses.
Only time will tell.
