YOUR BROTHER HAS DONE WELL, DO YOU THINK FOOTBALL IS IN-BORN? Not really. It’s just me and Knowledge who are into football. However, Knowledge has inspired me to take sport seriously because of his achievements.
IS IT FAIR TO COMPARE YOU TO KNOWLEDGE? We play different positions. Our styles, strengths and weaknesses are also different. It will be unfair to compare us. We have achieved things differently.
SO YOU ARE NOT RIDING ON YOUR BROTHER’S FAME? I am working hard to prove critics wrong. I am my own man and working for my name. We are two different people like I said. However, such things are bound to be said but I don’t stress about it.

I am a ball player and I can shoot from afar. I can dribble as well. Motivating other players when we are down is my other potency. DID ACES YOUTH ACADEMY TRANSFORM YOUR CAREER? Football was everything at the academy and there are so many things. They changed my attitude towards sport and how to handle my career professionally. I have been there for six years and my brother Knowledge went through the same stages.
PREMIERSHIP DEBUT: In 2013 against Dynamos at Rufaro stadium. I was on a six-month loan with Motor Action.
HOW DID YOU FIND YOUR WAY TO FCP? My handlers, AYSA sealed a one-year loan deal for me and Wisdom Mutasa in January 2014 but I don’t belong to the academy anymore.
LIFE AT FCP: It’s a well run club, stable and professional.
HOW ABOUT STAYING AWAY FROM HOME? Oh no, It is not easy. It was hell in the early day when I was forced to cook, do laundry on my own but I am used. l can’t complain much. But I go home with every opportunity that comes my way.

WORST GAME: Losing 2-1 against Harare City and our hopes for the Premiership title were dented. I scored in the final minute but it didn’t make a difference.
HOW DID YOU MISS OUT ON THE LEAGUE? We lost points at a crucial stage of the season. The defeat against Harare City was costly and draw against Border Strikers and Ngezi.
BEST STADIUM: Mandava.
NORMAN MAPEZA: He is shaping me to be a better player. He is a great coach and there is so much to learn from his experiences.
DID YOU ACHIEVE YOUR TARGETS FOR THE SEASON: We missed on winning silverware but I was thrilled to be among the best 11 players.
WHAT WAS YOUR REACTION WHEN YOU GOT TO KNOW ABOUT THE VOTES? Somehow, I was expecting it. It just made me feel appreciated. At times you play well but your efforts won’t be recognised especially when playing away from the major cities.
