DYNAMOS are certain to lose left back Ocean Mushure who will be out of contract by end of December.
Yesterday it emerged there is a serious bid for the player by FC Platinum and Ngezi Platinum.
Although the player’s agent Moore Moyo was not giving much in terms of the destiny of the player yesterday, he confirmed the player will not be renewing his contract at DeMbare.
“His contract is coming to an end and he will be moving on. He had a great time at Dynamos and won three titles with them and now he believes it is time to move on. That is definite,” Moyo said.
Mushure has in the past worked with both Ngezi Platinum coach Tonderai Ndiraya and FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza.
Mapeza shaped the player’s career at an early age while Ndiraya was with the player for a longer period at Dynamos.
Mushure remains a highly rated player in the country despite DeMbare’s poor show in the 2016 season.
“Dynamos have not also come forward to try and renew the player’s contract so in such a case, the player is obviously tempted to get the other good offers available.
“I cannot disclose the offers but by end of week we should be in a position to give you the latest on the issue,” Moyo added.
H-Metro understands that the two Platinum teams have made serious bids for the left back.
“Ngezi Platinum are eager to complete their CAF Confederation Cup squad as soon as possible. So they are working with a deadline that is fast approaching. That is the reason why a deal has to be completed soon or there will be no deal at all,” said a source.
“They have made their offer and they are pushing. In the event that they fail, they will be covered by the presence of Talent Chamboko and Qadr Amini whom they have also targeted.
“The biggest challenge for Ngezi in their bid to sign Mushure is that FC Platinum have a better offer for the player. Mapeza has always been an admirer of the player. So chances are very high that the left back could snub Baobab for Mandava.”
Ndiraya could not be reached for comment on the matter while FC Platinum spokesperson Chido Chizondo could neither confirm nor deny they had made the bid.
“As FC Platinum when we have finalised with any new signings we will put it in writing,” she said.
At the beginning of the season Mushure had also been targeted by DRC giants AS VITA but there was no deal proposed. Instead AS VITA signed Oscar Machapa who has been a huge success.
